Kamala Bharadwaj L,Founder of Satyayoga has been practicing Yoga since 1998 and as a Yoga Instructor since 2005. Kamala teaches over 500 students on a running basis and Satya Foundation is located in Rajajinagar, Bangalore. She has been greatly influenced by the practices of BKS Iyengar. With an inborn quality of teacher inherited from her father she has grown to be a very popular teacher first in Deeksha College of Commerce and currently she is an Assistant Professor of Economics in Jain College.
She teaches yoga at Jyothirmandiram Monday through Saturday between 6am to 8.15am. Total strength of Abhyasis/ Yoga practitioners per class varies from 5 to 20. She also provides Yoga consultation and training services to the Gold's gym in Bangalore.
She spends the remainder of her time conducting private yoga lessons for corporate and individuals and also holds yoga camps all over India. She specializes in meditation practices, yoga nidra and pranayam techniques and has successfully taught many students from India and abroad. She is now specializing on the techniques of therapeutic yoga specially focusing on Blood Pressure, Asthma, Arthritis, Thyroid, Diabetes and Hypertension. She teaches yoga for alcoholics and treats individuals with Drug abuse through Kriyas and Pranayama.
She has won many State and National Competitions. She was awarded the coveted Aryabhata International Award - 2015 & Yoga Kala Sadhaki for her service and contribution to Yoga. She was handpicked by the Youth Affairs Ministry to represent India for the Common Wealth Day Celebrations in 2007, Colombo, Sri Lanka. Kamala also served as an Economics Lecturer in different colleges.

Aryabhata International Award - 2015 for her service to the society through Yoga Therapy. Her dedicated efforts towards healing people brought her the coveted award in a grand function held at Ravindra Kala Kshetra, Bengaluru on 18th of May 2016.
