We organize intensive 200 hour Classical Hatha Yoga Teacher training course at our SatyaYoga Center, Bengaluru. It is an intensive Yoga certification course which gives all the required skills and provides practical and theoretical information to become a successful Yoga Therapist. The course is equally suitable for beginners as well as advance practitioners.
It covers an extensive yoga teacher training
The curriculum covers classical Hatha Yoga extensively:
1. Understanding of Ashtanga yoga, emphasizing on each aspect of Ashtanga.
2. 100+ Hatha Yoga asanas (yoga poses), proper alignments, unique and very detailed correction techniques, personal modifications and contra indications of each asana.
3. Bandhas and Mudras
4. Naturopathy : Basic understanding of Naturopathy principles, Shatkriyas and Panchatatvas
5. Acupressure: Basic understanding of Acupressure Points and its Therapeutic benefits.
6. A wide range of diseases/ailments are covered with complete understanding of the cause, symptom and effect. Based on these, yogic treatment is provided as a preventive and curative mechanism to heal them.
We follow Hatha Yoga and we educate and train our students to become excellent yoga therapists with proper understanding of classical Hatha Yoga and yogic philosophy.
By the end of this 200 Hour Hatha Yoga teacher training provided by Satya Foundation you will have a strong foundation to teach Hatha Yoga, a strong and disciplined self-practice of yoga and meditation and an increased awareness and deeper understanding of the yogic philosophy and lifestyle. At the end of the yoga certification course there will be two exams; one theoretical exam and one exam on teaching skills. After passing these exams you will receive a 200 hour yoga teacher training certification which also confers you a title called 'Yoga Acharya'

Our yoga teacher training courses are open to all yoga seekers and there is no age limit. We accept students from all backgrounds and levels, who meet the following criteria:

Rules and Regulations
All the yoga teachers training students are required to follow Satya Yoga rules:
Minimum 200 hours of attendance in the classes is required to qualify for the exams.
Alcohol, drugs and tobacco are strictly forbidden while you are in the premises (recommended even otherwise)
Students are requested to co-operate and participate in the activities of the course
Timely submission of assignments is mandatory
Carry yourself as a Healer
You will receive complementary 2 pairs of uniform and a Satya yoga teacher training course manual on arrival. It is recommended to bring with you:
Yoga mat & meditation cushion (can be purchased at the ashram)
Working wristwatch (required for ‘how to teach’ classes)
Clothes appropriate to the climate (shoulders, midriff and legs should be covered)
You are not allowed to carry gadgets in any form (mobile to be in silent, camera isn't allowed)
Please note that our Hatha Yoga teacher training course is not for the people who are looking for a relaxing yoga experience. To them we suggest to enroll for our Yoga Retreats instead.
